Hello, I'm Cat!
I believe that everyone has a creative spark waiting to be ignited. For over 40 years, I've had the absolute joy of helping people of all ages discover that spark. Whether you're holding a paintbrush for the first time or you're an experienced maker looking to try a new medium, my goal is to make art approachable, relaxing, and incredibly fun.
My journey in art education has been a beautiful adventure. Since 2000, I've been honored to be an affiliated instructor with the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program, surrounded by inspiring artists and eager learners. But my heart has always been in sharing these experiences with my local community.

While I'm based in beautiful Sky Valley, Cat's Creative Events is a fully mobile studio! That means the creative experience comes directly to you. Whether you're hosting a birthday party in Palm Springs, a team-building event in Palm Desert, or a cozy private lesson in La Quinta, I pack up the supplies and bring the workshop right to your doorstep.
From building your very own ukulele to getting lost in the meditative process of mosaic art, upcycling clothes, or altering books—I offer a wide variety of classes designed to let you explore, make mistakes, and create something you're truly proud of.

The Beginning
Started the journey of teaching art, discovering a lifelong passion for helping others express their creativity.

Joined the prestigious Idyllwild Arts Summer Program as an affiliated instructor, a relationship that continues to this day.
Expanding the Offerings
Grew the workshop catalog to include unique experiences like ukulele building, altered books, and mosaics.

Serving the entire Coachella Valley as a fully mobile creative studio, bringing art classes to homes, businesses, and event spaces.
